How to use the Parent Handbooks Cliff Notes

Here is the “How to use the parent handbook” in a nutshell:

Questions are organized into 2 categories for organizational purposes only:
• Toddlers for ages 1 – 3 years (Approximate age range)
• Preschoolers for ages 3 – 5 years (Approximate age range)
Read the entire book before asking questions to let your child enjoy the story and the pictures.
Ask questions in the toddler category first because they are easier.
Read a page or two, and then ask a couple of questions that are associated with them.
Don’t ask your child ALL of the questions all at once. Just pick and choose a few every time you read the book with them. Mix it up!
You can also just use the pictures to work on language skills without reading the book. Just sit with your child and look at the pictures and talk about them.
All of the questions focus on the basic language concepts that toddlers and preschoolers will learn as they grow from an infant to a preschooler.

Most importantly have fun and laugh!

Don’t forget to be silly!!!
